Follistatin 344 Pre-mixed Pen 1mg
Follistatin 344 Follistatin 344 (FST-344)
Follistatin 344 is a full-length, 344-amino acid glycoprotein and a potent endogenous inhibitor of myostatin and other members of the TGF-β superfamily. It is the most commonly studied isoform of follistatin in muscle research.
Key Characteristics:
Structure: Full-length follistatin containing the 344-amino acid sequence with multiple glycosylation sites
Mechanism: High-affinity binding and neutralization of myostatin (GDF-8), thereby removing inhibition of muscle growth
Action: Promotes muscle hypertrophy and hyperplasia by blocking myostatin signaling
Properties: Strong anabolic effects localized to skeletal muscle with minimal systemic side effects in research models
Research Applications:
Muscle hypertrophy and hyperplasia studies
Myostatin inhibition and muscle wasting (cachexia, sarcopenia) research
Duchenne muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular disease models
Body composition and lean mass enhancement investigations
Tissue regeneration and satellite cell activation research
Comparison studies with follistatin 315 and other myostatin inhibitors
Follistatin 344 is highly valued in laboratory research for its ability to dramatically increase muscle mass and strength by neutralizing myostatin, making it one of the most potent anabolic peptides studied for muscle growth and regenerative applications.
For laboratory research use only. Not intended for human or veterinary use.
